Pierre Robert is celebrating 10 years as an underwear brand!
For the past ten years, underwear and baselayer clothing from Pierre Robert have become staple items in Norwegian homes. We are now marking the occasion with an exciting fashion partnership and – perhaps just as importantly – exclusive anniversary offers in our webshop.
This year, Pierre Robert is celebrating ten years as an underwear brand. Since the brand's launch in 2006, we have worked hard to promote comfort, fit and contemporary designs in the Scandinavian underwear market. "Underwear should be made for everyday use, not fantasy wear,” says Elisabeth Tapper, Marketing Director for the Pierre Robert Group.
All Pierre Robert clothes are developed by our Scandinavian design team in Oslo. We feel very strongly about quality and monitor this closely at our suppliers. We want our clothing to be comfortable with an excellent fit, while at the same time showcasing pure Nordic aesthetics," says Tapper. Scandinavian women want fashionable comfort and fit, and we've always designed our products for this target group.
The Pierre Robert Group was originally established as Hjemmets Produkter in 1956. The Pierre Robert brand name was purchased in 2006 and Pierre Robert Lingerie became the company’s first new collection. The company then changed its name to the Pierre Robert Group in 2008.
Over the past ten years, the Pierre Robert Group has gone from offering a modest collection of underwear in supermarkets to serving customers across Scandinavia, both in store and online. The journey has been a fantastic one and consumer preference for Pierre Robert products continues to grow.
I’ve had the good fortune of experiencing this journey from day one, from a few underwear models (that were developed before I began working here) to the extensive collection we have today, says Design Manager of the Pierre Robert Group Jorunn Heggdal. It is precisely this combination of fine design, perfect fit and excellent quality that has been the key to our success.

For the past ten years, we have provided Scandinavian men, women and children with baselayer clothing developed for the Nordic climate and designed from a Scandinavian perspective. A fashion series styled and photographed by the Norwegian ELLE magazine offered the perfect opportunity to visualise and pay tribute to Pierre Robert’s Scandinavian identity, explains Elle Fure, Communications Manager of the Pierre Robert Group.
