We believe it's possible to look great and dress comfortably at the same time. Pierre Robert is tailor-made for a Scandinavian lifestyle, which sets a high standard. The materials must be high quality, the fit perfect, and the clothes stylish and contemporary – but comfortable enough for a hectic everyday life.
All of our garments are designed by our Scandinavian design team in Oslo.
Our collections follow current trends and are updated every season. Our designs are always based on Scandinavian minimalism, with an emphasis on clean lines and simple, flattering cuts in quality materials.
All of our garments are designed by our Scandinavian design team in Oslo. The team consists of Head Designer Jorunn Heggdal, Bente Helstrøm and associated freelancers. There is also a buyer and product manager for each item of clothing.
It takes us a long time to create a new Pierre Robert garment. The clothes are tested in different material combinations and colours in close collaboration with our knowledgeable suppliers. The materials must feel soft against the skin and incorporate excellent functional qualities, such as moisture transport and elasticity.
In addition to looking and feeling great, we also believe clothes should meet sustainability standards and Pierre Robert has strict guidelines for the use of chemicals, among other things. We also place great emphasis on animal welfare and wool production, and only buy certified museling-free wool.
Before being launched on the market, all Pierre Robert clothing is tested on many different types of people. Testing and adjustments along the way help us find the best fit and right measurements for each size. We want our clothes to fit as many different shapes as possible. Everyone is different, but we know that Nordic women, men and children are often slightly taller and larger in size than further south in Europe. Nordic women also feel very strongly about comfort and functionality, and we're committed to making our clothes fit well and be comfortable for everyone. One size spans quite a wide range at Pierre Robert and includes people both small and large within the same size. If you're unsure of which size to buy, check our size guide to help you find the perfect fit..
MEET OUR DESIGNERS
As a child, Jorunn drew clothes for paper dolls and spent her time in maths classes making fashion sketches. Now she's Design Manager for Pierre Robert.
Nearly every child in Norway owns underwear designed by Bente. Most of the patterns – robots, sea monsters, hearts and scribbles - are hand-drawn by Bente.
